[Novel] Death is a Lonely Business (Ray Bradbury)

Death is a Lonely BusinessBradbury’s masterful use of English language is about the only thing that sets this noir mystery story apart from its pulp fiction contemporaries. It might have style, and be quite fun to read, but it’s still mostly fluff, and you’ll hardly remember a thing about it a couple of days after you put it down.

Positive: Negative:
Eloquent, evocative prose A bloated cast makes it hard to track who is who
Likable characters Doesn’t offer anything particularly special
