Figures of Happiness

My first non-nukige visual novel, written, ironically, by a guy famous for his nukige, JUN (you might have heard of his Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo).

The story in Figures of Happiness is peculiar indeed; as one of the heroines is killed off at the very beginning of the story, she comes over to your place as a ghost and takes possession of your body. Meanwhile, you end up possessing some other guy along the way… and it’s just a clusterfuck of weird situations.

The visual novel might not be masterfully written, but I found its characters likable and the plot intriguing enough to see it all the way through. I’m not sure if I’d like it as much if I read it now, but it thought it pretty cool ten years ago.
